Newsletter Display Ad
The newsletter is published six times per year. Your display ad can appear in the newsletter and online on this Website. You may purchase an ad to appear in one, three or six editions of the newsletter.

Newsletter Display Ad Specifications
Ads submitted for the printed newsletter must be in "high resolution" format. Ads must be submitted in the exact size to appear in the newsletter. Please consult the sizes below to make sure your ad is correctly sized. Please be sure your ad is clear, crisp, professional and double checked for spelling or typographical errors before submitting.

Online Display Ad
Online display ads appear on numerous pages throughout the Website. The ad layout features a tall, columnar format that keeps your ad visible while visitors are reading the page. Several available sizes are shown below.

Display ads can be text-based, graphical, or even animated, depending upon your budget and your requirements.

You can link your Display ad to a larger version of your ad on our site or to any page on the Internet.

Online Ad Requirements

• Please size your ad to the measurements above
• Ads that are not correctly sized will not be published - we can resize your ad for $50.
• We accept GIF, JPG, JPEG, PNG and animated GIF files for the columnar ads
• For readibility, use a minimum of 12pt font size

For best results, keep your ad simple and clear with a call to action. The smaller ad can link to a "full page" (850px x 1100px) ad or you can link to an external website or Web page. For example, create your 180 pixel x 200 pixel ad with your message and call to action. When a user clicks on your ad, you can send them to a larger image (850px by 1100px) with more details and information. Or, link your online ad to a page on your site or another site.

For example, you are creating a workshop or group. You create your online ad based on the online ad size. Since you have a lot of information to tell readers, you'll want to have your small columnar ad tout the benefits and have a strong call to action. When a visitor clicks on your ad, they can be taken to your website for more information, or, you can create a large ad (850px x 1100px) with all of the details. The columnar ad (180px wide) creates interest and the "call to action" is designed to bring the visitor to more information (your website or the larger online ad).

Online Full Page Ad
Especially useful if you do not have a Website of your own, these are used in conjunction with any Online Display ads and allow you to show all of the information you'd like. A full page ad must be no larger than 850 pixels wide by 1100 pixels deep.

Please submit your full page ad in JPG, JPEG, PNG or GIF format. Full pages can NOT be animated. Please be sure your ad looks crisp and professional.

All newsletter and Website ads must be uploaded using the forms available on the following page of this Website: (click here) or sent via e-mail to the chapter's e-mail address: mail@scv-camft.org. No other method will be accepted. Please e-mail the chapter at mail@scv-camft.org with any questions you may have.

All ads must obtain approval by the Editor before acceptance.

Combination Newsletter and Online Ads

Our printed newsletter (and PDF version online) are published every two months. Our online ads can be posted at any time and will appear as soon as the ad is paid for and approved. We do recommend looking at the combination rates that will allow your ad to be published in the printed newsletter and published online on the website.

Why are Online Ads and Print Ads Different?
Online ads use a resolution of 72 dots per inch and are measured in pixels. Printed ads must be 200 dots per inch or more to look crisp when printed and are measured in inches. There is no 1:1 correlation of ad sizes onlne to print - so that means that you'll want to create your print ad using tools that will create a "high resolution" file. Typically, if your ad looks sharp and crisp when you print it out on your home printer, it's probably good for printing in the newsletter. For online ads, the sizes are not in inches but are in pixels. All of our columnar ads on the website are 180 pixels wide. The height varies based on the size of the ad you purchase.
