Personal Statement
I have had extensive training, education and experience working with adults and older adolescents, providing treatment that is integrative and I strive to meet the client where they are at. I hold both a BA and MA in Clinical/Counseling Psychology and am a certified hypnotherapist and a certified eating disorder specialist. I also provide supervision for Associate MFT's.
My theoretical orientation is integrative, which means I use a mixture of cognitive behavioral, solution focused, mindfulness, stress management, dream work, insight oriented and transpersonal techniques among other modalities depending on the needs of the client. I also work with clients to help them develop and enhance their strengths and relationship to self. My style is warm and interactive.
