Peace-It-Together Counseling Agency-LMFT/LPCC- Part-Time Position Job Summary: 4 hours of Supervision per week Under the supervision of the Program Director, this position has the primary responsibility for providing supervision of MFT Trainees, PCC’s and AMFT’s. The clinicians will primarily be working with Medi-Cal clients and two of our programs include justice-involved individuals. Mental health services include: CBT and person-centered care, providing developmentally appropriate mental health treatment; coordination of care with Social Workers, Probation Officers, and other collaterals; maintaining a written record of treatment, account ledger, including initial assessments and treatment plans.
Supervision responsibilities include: direct oversight of mental health clinicians’ work; quarterly reviewing clinicians notes, assessments and treatment plans to ensure compliance with Medi-Cal requirements; providing weekly guidance and assistance with the treatment of clients; weekly triadic supervision. Duties and Responsibilities: Individual (triadic)supervision of mental health clinicians and interns. Keeping current BBS required documentation as it relates to supervisees. Attend monthly supervisory meetings and periodic trainings Follow regulatory guidelines, mandated reporting, and program/agency protocols in performing duties.
Keeping CEU’s and insurance current
Qualifications and Characteristics Desired: LMFT or LPCC from accredited graduate program. Must be licensed with BBS and eligible to supervise.
Must have completed 15 hours of supervisory education-CEU
(Meet BBS requirements for supervision) Excellent clinical and writing skills. Supervision experience preferred.
Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the Supervisor regularly works virtually, but may have to meet in person quarterly with staff.
