OpenWorld Psychology, a group private practice in Santa Clara, CA is looking for a part-time therapist (LMFT, LCSW, LPC) to join the organization.

OpenWorld Psychology is an innovative mental health center for individual therapy, group therapy, assessment, and consultation across the lifespan. At OpenWorld, evidence-based therapy is paired with innovation in order to creatively approach treatment. We provide a treatment and work setting that fosters connection and balance. OpenWorld is growing from the ground floor. Already a thriving practice, more clinicians are sought in order to build our community and provide more access to care and fill our new office space in Santa Clara. OpenWorld serves a large population, but some current specialties of the practice including gaming, technology, and giftedness and twice-exceptionality.

Job Description

Come join our growing team as a therapist. This position is a part-time hybrid position, with opportunities to work in-person at one of our office locations (North San Jose or Santa Clara) and remotely. Hours are flexible and you can work on your schedule. OpenWorld is a lifespan practice, and we are looking for clinicians with different interests and specialties. Our adult clients at OpenWorld are often seeking support for depression, anxiety, work stress, and other referring issues. Children and families are most often referred for behavioral difficulties, excessive technology use, or neurodevelopmental disorders.

Our Role

OpenWorld handles the scheduling, billing, contract forms (i.e., consent documents, intake documents, initial measures per your preference), electronic medical records (HIPAA-compliant EHR), and setting up all you need to focus on your clinical work.

Required Qualifications:
  • Experience working with adults, children, or families as a therapist
  • Active, unrestricted license to practice in California ( LMFT, LCSW, or LPC)
  • Knowledge and skills for using evidence-based therapy (e.g., CBT, ACT, DBT, behavioral parent training, PCIT
  • Open for telehealth and in-person sessions (minimum of one hour per week available for in-person appointments)
  • Employment contingent on credentialing through the insurance panel.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Interest in group therapy (you tell us what you’d like to run!)
  • Experience providing parent behavior training workshops or classes
  • Supervision Experience (group and/or individual)
