Hi and Happy New Year! I have an employment opportunity at my group private practice. I am the owner of San Mateo Child and Family Counseling Center, and I have 6 therapists who work for me. We all focus on children, teens and their families, and some of us also see adults and couples. I have 3 play therapy offices in San Mateo, and I am looking for a LMFT or AMFT to work 2-3 days a week, at my So. Amphlett Blvd. location. You would see 4 children/teens on each of these days, plus an hour of notes, 30 min. - 1 hour of consultation/supervision per week, and a 1 hour, once a month Saturday morning group meeting. Total hours per week would be 15-20 hours a week. For AMFT applicants, I require you to be at 2000 hours, and I offer BBS supervision with one of my senior, supervising therapists.

I am looking for warm, compassionate, organized, and confident therapists who have experience with providing integrative, client centered child and teen therapy, including psychodynamic, CBT, play therapy, and narrative orientations.
