The mission of Parisi House on the Hill is to end the cycle of drug and alcohol dependence of our clients, all of whom are mothers. We are Santa Clara County’s first mother-and-child residential alcohol and drug treatment facility, allowing mothers to focus on their treatment program without the emotional distress caused when separated from their children. We provide living facilities for 20 mothers and 22 children who have made the choice to end the cycle of substance abuse.
Parisi House on the Hill has an immediate need for a part-time (25 hours/week, exact work schedule to be determined) Clinical Supervisor, reporting to the Program Director. The Clinical Supervisor is critical to our ability to continue to deliver our evidence-based programs that address the needs of recovery while valuing the unification of mothers and their children. This position provides comprehensive clinical oversight, training, and support to staff providing residential level of care Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment services to women with children. The Clinical Supervisor ensures clinical staff provide services in accordance with all applicable County, State, and Federal regulations and statutes, using evidence-based practices whenever possible.
The Clinical Supervisor also provides supervision to our team of 3 certified and/or licensed counselors and up to 2 CAADAC interns. This includes hiring, goal setting, professional development and performance management. This role is responsible for monitoring charting and documentation for accuracy and clinical appropriateness.
This position requires a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LMFT, LCSW) with a current license. The selected candidate must be proficient in using Electronic Health Records. We require written and verbal communication skills to present information in one-on-one and small group situations and to prepare business correspondence. This position uses common software programs such as MS Outlook.
The person we choose must have reliable transportation to offsite meetings and must pass required background screening.
- Experience working with women and children who are affected by SUD
- Substance use treatment experience
- Experience in a residential treatment facility
- Experience with Welligent
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, Vietnamese, Mandarin, Farsi or Tagalog
We have a voluntary 401(k) plan with company matching funds. This position earns PTO on a prorated basis, based on the number of hours regularly scheduled per week. We are located in a lovely, semi-rural setting, away from the bustle of the rest of Silicon Valley.
