About the Facilitators

Kavita Comoglio, LMFT, works with couples and adults on issues around intimate partner and family relationships, life transitions, cultural/racial identity, and personal and professional growth. The majority of her clients identify as BIPOC, queer, immigrants, 1st- and 2nd-Gen Americans, or mixed race, and she specializes in working with interracial/multicultural couples. As a South Asian immigrant, she understands the complexity of navigating multiple identities and specializes in creating a space to process and embrace what that feels like. Although she enjoys employing techniques from a variety of theoretical frameworks, her primary orientation is psychodynamic and relational. In addition to her master’s degree in counseling psychology, she holds an MBA and has worked in operations, tech and marketing for global companies and non-profits prior to becoming a therapist. She sees clients in her office located in the East Bay, and she works with clients virtually across California. www.kavitapsychotherapy.com

After a long career in the tech industry, he began re-evaluating what truly mattered following the loss of both parents. This reflection led him to study the science and practice of compassion through Stanford’s CCARE and eventually transition to a career in mental health. He is an active SCV-CAMFT volunteer, supporting the mentorship program and AV at events. Outside of school, Ratnesh enjoys hiking, landscape photography, and live music.
