The SCV-CAMFT board of directors is looking for members who are interested in helping shape the future of our chapter. Membership on the SCV-CAMFT board of directors provides an opportunity to shape our chapter while fostering community with your professional colleagues. The board of directors is a “governing” board, responsible for creating the vision, mission, values, and policies for the chapter and ensuring that the principles and finances are properly managed. Board members are expected to attend 11 monthly meetings, the annual membership celebration, a planning session, the CAMFT Chapter Leadership Conference and as many luncheons as your schedule permits throughout your term. Board meetings are held monthly typically the last Sunday of the month from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM online. There are no meetings in the month of December. Board members are expected to utilize the internet and email to conduct business. All board members shall serve for two (2) years, except the president-elect, who shall serve for three (3) years; the first year as president-elect, the second year as president, and the third year as past-president.
