Kusum, an alumna of the California Institute of Integral Studies’ Integral Counseling Psychotherapy program and an AMFT with Gestalt Therapy training, immigrated from India. In India, she spent four years honing her skills in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy and gained practical experience working with clients under supervision. Presently, Kusum contributes her experience at both the Bay Area Gestalt Institute and The Couples Center in San Francisco. She has joined the board with a dual purpose: to serve her community of fellow therapists by bringing a lens of cultural humility to her work on the board and to establish a sense of home and belonging within this professional circle.
