Board Member Bio
Liliana is a licensed clinician who joined SCV-CAMFT in 2015 as a pre-licensed member. Her pronouns are she, her, and ella. She earned her master’s degree in counseling psychology from Santa Clara University with an emphasis on health in 2018 and was licensed in 2020. Liliana has held a position on the SCV-CAMFT Board since May 2021. She has been a director at large and president. Now she serves you as your Chapter’s past president. Liliana has her private practice in Milpitas, where she works with adults who are experiencing trauma, anxiety, or relationship issues. She is a psychodynamic therapist trained in IFS, CCTP, EMDR, and Brainspotting. For couples, she uses the Couple's Institute Developmental Model and is trained in the Gottman Model. She is a bilingual, LGBTQ+ affirming, and culturally affirming therapist. She uses her language skills when working with LatinX clients and volunteering with RIWW to complete immigration evaluations. As a retired military veteran and immigrant, she enjoys working with veterans and immigrants. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, creating family videos, hiking, baking, and reading.
