Board Member Bio
This year marks six years as owner and Clinical Supervision of my group practice, Bay Area Art Therapy. A major factor in my professional development and success as a business owner has been my membership in our SCV-CAMFT community. The last couple of years I have tried to give back to this community. I have continued learning by volunteering as the Director of Support groups and President Elect. This year I want to continue the work of this great CAMFT chapter as your President. I hope to continue to support the board and enable members to get more involved in events, socials, self-care, and leadership. My favorite quote is, "There are two ways of spreading the light; to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it." Using Art Therapy and play with clients of all ages and their families I am able to be the mirror that reflects their own inherent uniqueness and shine! When I am not nerding out over art, therapy, and Psychotherapy Networker magazine I can be found spending time with family, traveling, collaging, day dreaming, journaling, trying new restaurants, or seeing the latest superhero movie!
