Board Member Bio
Emily Kitts, LMFT, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who brings a warm, thoughtful, and trauma-informed approach to her work with adults and couples. She supports clients navigating anxiety, relationship stress, life transitions, and the impact of trauma, with particular attention to how work stress and burnout affect overall well being. Emily draws from evidence-based and relational approaches including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and attachment based therapy, tailoring her work to each client’s needs and values. Before returning to clinical practice, Emily spent over a decade working in corporate and tech environments, which informs her understanding of professional stress and identity. She is passionate about fostering connection, reducing isolation, and supporting both clients and clinicians in finding steadiness and meaning in their work and lives. Outside of therapy, Emily values time with her family, being outdoors, meditation, and yoga.
