This is a support group for seasoned therapists as well as newly licensed therapists. The mission of this support group is to provide an opportunity for growth and excellence through professional and interpersonal engagement, a safe, secure platform to exchange ideas, discuss challenges and seek / provide support.
This group is free of charge for SCV-CAMFT members, and open to non-members, who can attend 2 meetings before joining the chapter. This group typically meets the third Friday of every month from 10:00AM to 11:30AM. We are currently meeting online. Links will be provided when you register. Nasrin is a licensed Marriage Family Therapist. She graduated from University of San Francisco with a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology in 2002. Upon graduation from USF, Nasrin enrolled in a PhD program in clinical psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute where she completed the core curriculum and gained an appreciation for Jungian psychology. In her spare time Nasrin studies Rumi.
Cindy is a licensed Marriage Family Therapist and has been in private practice since 2001 in both Pacific Grove and San Jose. Being semi-retired, she wants to stay connected to peers by offering support within our CAMFT community. She has a specialty in aging and grief/loss and has taught Experiential Sand-tray Therapy since 2005.
