Group Private Practice Owners Support Group

Co-Facilitators: Ursula Jorgensen, ATR-BC, LMFT and Amanda Cortez, LMFT

This group is open to all SCV-CAMFT members who own their own group practice or are in private practice looking for support to expand from solo to group practice. We will have an opening and closing, conversations, and consultation on situations attendees have encountered. We will also leave room for attendees to say what populations their practice sees and be a resource to each other.

This group is free of charge for SCV-CAMFT members, and open to non-members, who can attend 2 meetings before joining the chapter.

About the Facilitators

Ursula has 5 years licensed as an LMFT, Board Certified Art Therapist and owner of group practice with four offices in Belmont and San Mateo. We specialize in using art making and expressive techniques to help our clients celebrate their forgotten strengths, strategize around their struggles, and see a path toward a successful outcome. Art helps us explore trauma, loss, grief, family relationships and enhances self awareness.

Amanda is the owner and founder of Yes To Therapy, a mental health service collective, specializing in individual, marriage, and family therapy, and enjoys collaborating with other therapists who are eager to advance their careers. Amanda hopes to facilitate personal growth and professional development within the therapy field.
